As reported byTVLine , Ava DuVernayis collaborating with the CW to bring the Word of God , originally written by Brian Michael Bendis and David F Walker withillustrations by Jamal Campbell , to television . work through DuVernay’sARRAY Filmworks streamer , she and Jill Blankenship ( Arrow)will be writing the script for a potential adaptation of the book for the CW , inassociation with Warner Bros TV .
The vision of thestory sounds relatively unfeigned to the comics it ’s base on , with the loglinesaying that Naomi will embark on a journeying from her little hometown in theNorthwest to “ the top of the multiverse . ” A supernatural eventchanges her living , and she enter on a journey to interpret it “ and whatshe discover will challenge everything we believe about our hero . ”Sounds predict .
