According to CBS Chicago , the copper inside the ACs is sold for scrap , great for making enough money for a quick mess . Never undervalue the power of dependance . Residents in the neighborhood are now being advised to put away up their units extra tight with multiple lock to stop the thieves . It ’s red-hot enough without this sort of trouble .
