I have a pretty nice Sony CD Alarm clock . Whenever the power move out , I ask to reset the twelvemonth , date , SSN , etc , and it ’s a pretty big painful sensation in the butt . So most of the time , I do n’t nark to program the real date in because it does n’t even seem on the display .
About a hebdomad ago we had another momentary power outage . Knowing that the terminal of daytime saving was tight approaching , I spend the extra 10 seconds to save 10 minute later , think my clock might update automatically . It did not . So why does my alarm need a date at all ? For its own peace of mind ? So it knows to call its mommy on her birthday ? WTF ? I recognise not everyone celebrates this joyous event , but most of us do .
Anyone else out there have a stupid gadget that should auto update , but does n’t ? Anyone detest that I incorrectly tell “ savings ” rather of the technically proper “ daylight saving ” ? Anyone just hate station about clocks ?
