Firefly is already enough of a weird dimension to be sour into a board game , almost 13 years after it graced ( and promptly left ) our screens – it ’s not like masses have n’t essay toshoehorn it into more formal games , either . But finally , someone ’s gotten around to progress to a Firefly game that looks pretty cool .

Okay , so Firefly : Fistful of Credits is a small on the olfactory organ as a deed of conveyance , but the premiss sounds perfect : it ’s a co - surgical biz where 2 - 4 players work together to plan one of three Heists based on ones from the show itself ( from Bushwhacked , The Train Job and Ariel ) and attempt to draw in them off for fun , profit and whatever else big damn heroes get up to . Each heist has its own card to play on , and players have to team up members of the Serenity ’s crew in chemical group to seize gear , oppose or otherwise swindle your team into successfully pulling off the stickup – which , as they were wo n’t to do in Firefly , can have a bunch of complications throw up to put a spanner in the industrial plant .

It ’s kind of amazing that it took so long for something like this to happen , because it make almost too much sense to not occur . This is actual Firefly - y stuff , not , well , Clue ! If you ’re interested , you may pre - grade a copy fromEntertainment Earthfor $ 60 , in the lead of an April release . Shiny !
