The fastest we go is 172,800x , compressing 24 hours of real metre into a blaze 1/2 minute . The wearisome is 1/32x focal ratio , load a bare 1/2 minute of actual prison term into a humongous 16 seconds . This render us a fastest to slow ratio of 5.5 million . If you like averages , the modal focal ratio up factor of the dance band saltation is 270x . In sum we shot 18 hours of the ring dancing and 192 hour of LA visible horizon timelapse – over a million frame of video – and compressed it all down to 4 arcminute and 30 second ! Oh and do n’t forget , it ’s one uninterrupted camera shot .
