On Thursday, the “Vampire” singer, 20, wore a short black strapless fringe dress paired with strappy black heels forGQ’s Men of the Year party held at L.A.’s Bar Marmont.

Posing on the carpet and inside on the venue’s black-and-white checkered floor, Rodrigo wore her dark brunette locks pulled back in a relaxed updo with long pieces framing her face and a soft red lip to enhance the smoldering look.

Rodrigo’s Grammy nominations include record of the year for her song “Vampire,” album of the year forGuts,song of the year for “Vampire,” best pop solo performance for “Vampire,” best pop vocal album forGutsand best rock song for “Ballad Of A Homeschooled Girl.”

Seeing her artist friends get nominated along with her is “half the fun,” she said. “Honestly, sometimes that’s more exciting than you getting nominated. [You are] just so proud of everyone that you love.”

On the same night, the music and style icon opened up toThe Hollywood Reporterabout mentally and physically prepping for her upcoming tour.

“I’m getting it all together right now, brainstorming everything,” she toldTHR. “I’m running on the treadmill right now singing my songs, because I want to be able to jump up and down and sing the songs.”

“I think it’s going to be really fun,” she said, adding, “I want the show to feel like a great place for people to scream and jump around and let loose.”
