New York City’sPlaza Hotelis offering newlyweds a unique opportunity to step into the cinematic world ofHome Alone 2: Lost in New York.
The luxury hotel, located on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, has introduced an immersivehoneymoonexperience that will allow couples to “get lost in New York, Kevin McCallister-style,” according to apress release.
The package features a range of fun activities designed to recreate some of the most memorable scenes from the 1992 holiday sequel, which depicts main character Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) once again getting separated from his family and having a solo adventure in the Big Apple.
Honeymooners will kick off their Plaza stay with a scenic limousine tour that will make stops at famous filming locations from the movie, including Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, Central Park, Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall.

More than 30 years after the originalHome Alonemovie first premiered in 1990, Culkin, 43, was finally honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this month. At the ceremony on Dec. 1, the former child actor enjoyed an emotional reunion with his onscreen mom,Catherine O’Hara, who gave a touching speech on his behalf.
“I know you worked really hard, I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do,” she told Culkin.
O’Hara concluded her heartfelt speech, “Macaulay, congratulations. You so deserve your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once but twice, to share in this happy occasion. I’m so proud of you.”

The pair then shared a hug, and Culkin could be seen wiping away tears before he took to the podium himself.
“Thanks for all your kind words and your stories and stuff. You know, you made my kids' dad, their papa, look good,” theMy Girlstar in his speech, referring to the two sons he shares with fiancéeBrenda Song. “And the most important thing to me is also that their papa understands that he wasn’t always a papa; he used to be a kid too, you know?”
He concluded with a lighthearted callback to one of his iconic lines of dialogue from the movie: “To wrap things up, and in the spirit of the holiday season, I just wanna say, ‘Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.’ "
